A 1940s ITALIAN PAINTED TOLE ‘WILD STRAWBERRY’ WALL SCONCE

A good sized and scarce 1940s Italian painted tole double branch ‘wild strawberry’ wall sconce naturalistically designed as meandering fruiting branches with flowers and a profusion of leaves all emanating from a scalloped bowl with twisted ‘rope’ edging, the twin candle holders of pretty scalloped from, hand painted throughout and with lovely details, original paper label ‘made in Italy’ present.  Integrated hanging loop for easy install.  Rare in this size and design.  Stunning on the wall and very decorative!  Can be wired and PAT tested.  Please enquire.  16cms deep.
