A 1970s LARGE PAIR OF ORIGINAL DISNEY POP ART METAL ‘POP CORN’ MOVIE THEATRE WALL LIGHTS

A large pair of original Disney pop art metal lights; lucite ‘Pop Corn’ movie theatre wall light, made in Canada, 1970s.  A rare find, these substantial feature wall lights are an original bespoke design for Walt Disney World Resorts lamp; removed during refurbishment works. Designed as giant cartons of pop corn, the lucite interior with ceramic double bulb fitting for up and down lighting, the exterior of perforated metal printed in red, white and yellow, with original labels ‘fabrique au Canada and Underwriters Laboratories Inc.’ with stamped issue number and design number present, with integral backplate fixings.  Original wiring present but will need rewiring and PAT testing ready for install.  Please enquire.  A fabulous, bespoke statement design.  Stunning on the wall!  Well made and in great condition commensurate with age.  Ideal for any Pop Art or Disney fan!
