A PAIR OF 1950s TOLE ITALIAN ‘MELE E PERE’ DOUBLE SCONCES

A scarce pair of hand painted tole ‘Mele e Pere’ double sconces, 1950s, Italian – naturalistically designed as leafy fruiting branches emanating from scalloped gadrooned vases, the double candle holders of pretty scalloped form, the ripe pears and rosy apples with variegated  paintwork – overall condition is very good & commensurate with age, showing only minor signs of wear but in our opinion not detracting.  Hard to find in this design and size – stunning on the wall!  Can be wired and PAT tested.  Please enquire.
