A pair of good sized Florentine gilt tole leaf appliqués by Salvadori – Italian, 1950s, naturalistically designed as three lobed serrated edge Acer leaves with detailed venation, the warm gilt well patinated, with single bulb fittings verso designed to emit an ambient light, both stamped S Salvadori, Italy.  Unusual in this design – stylish, understated glamour on the wall.
