A PAIR OF TOLE ‘IVY’ WALL SCONCES, 1940s

A large and very decorative pair of antique hand gilded Italian Tole three-arm wall sconces designed as naturalistic stems of intertwined climbing ivy, the bulb holders as flowers.  This design became very popular and was used extensively by legendary American decorator Dorothy Draper.  Italian 1930s/1940s.  Price includes wiring and PAT testing (lead-time to be confirmed) or they can be taken as they are for £550.  Depth 18cms.
