A PAIR OF UNUSUAL PAINTED TOLE ‘FLOWERING IRIS’ PENDANTS/WALL LIGHTS, ITALIAN, 1960s

Description

A Pair of unusual painted tole ‘Flowering Iris’ pendants/wall lights, Italian 1960s – naturalistically designed with an abundance of exuberant foliage set with variegated flowering stems, each pendant with a pair and a trio of branches on each side (each pendant 5 in all) all topped with crimped drip pans and original painted bulb holders. The versatile designs allows for various installation options with integral circular hanging hooks, chains and ceiling roses and could be made into wall lights. In good vintage condition but showing signs of age and wear to the paintwork but not detracting in our opinion. Very charming examples in this sought after design and flower.
