A Vintage French hand painted tole ‘Clementine Tree & Urn’ twin branch sconce – naturalistically designed with a profusion of fruiting leafy branches emanating fromm an elegant classical vase, the twin serpentine branches with decorative and scalloped and crimped form bulb holders, hand painted. In good overall condition with only minor paint losses commensurate with age but nothing detracting in our opinion. A very rare find in this sought after design and condition and probably by the French maker Maison Pouenat. Lovely original example of a botanical sconce. Stunning on the wall! Can be wired and PAT tested – please enquire. Also lovely with candles.
