Description

An unusual and very decorative painted tole ‘Daffodil Stem’ sconce, Italian, 1940s – naturalistically designed as a single leafy stem, the candle holder as a Narcissus flower, with integral hook verso for easy hanging. Original paper label verso ‘made in Italy’ present. In good vintage condition with signs of wear and some paint losses but not detracting in our opinion. A charming and original example of a botanical sconce. Unusual in this design. So pretty on the wall!
