A DECORATIVE PAIR OF TOLE IVY SCONCES, ITALIAN, 1940s

A decorative pair of antique hand gilded Italian tole double sconces, designed as naturalistic stems of intertwined climbing ivy, the bulb holders as flowers. Lovely patina and in great condition – spectacular on the wall.  This design became very popular in the 1940s and was used extensively by legendary American decorator Dorothy Draper.  Can be wired and PAT tested.  Please enquire.
