A PAIR OF 1930s ITALIAN POLYCHROME PAINTED TOLE ‘STRIPY TULIP’ SCONCES

Description

A pair of 1930s Italian polychrome painted tole ‘stripy tulip’ sconces – naturalistically designed with a profusion of colourful flowers emanating from gilt painted scrolling serpentine twin branches terminating in tulip form candle holders. In good overall condition commensurate with age showing some paint losses in places and each sconce slightly different but not detracting in our opinion. Lovely, early and sought after examples – very pretty on the wall! Can be wired and PAT tested – please enquire.
