Description

A pair of Italian gilt tole ‘leafy’ sconces, 1940s – naturalistically designed with an abundance of foliage, the twin branches with curling tendril details, the leaves well modelled with defined venation, the candle holders of pretty scalloped form, painted verso ‘Italy’. In good condition commensurate with age, the rich gilding well patinated. Very decorative, smart examples – stunning on the wall! Can be wired and PAT tested – please enquire.
