Description

A pair of twin branch tole ‘orange tree’ sconces, Italian, 1940s – naturalistically designed as planted ‘orange trees’, the leafy sinuous branches laded with bright fruits, ‘planted’ in scalloped, gadrooned semi circular pots, the variegated citrus leaves and fruits painted throughout in bright enamels. In good condition commensurate with age with areas of paint loss and weathering but in our opinion not detracting. Rewired and PAT tested – ready to install. Rare finds and sought after in this design, size and condition. Stunning and eye catching on the wall!
