A pair of statuesque Italian 1940s painted tole triple branch ‘Tulipiere’ wall lights sconces by Florentia – naturalistically designed, each sconce displaying nine white tulips within vase bases, the branches of foliate leafy form, hand painted throughout in muted shades of green and white, with integral hooks verso for ease of hanging. Each sconce bearing original paper labels ‘Florentia – a decorative craft, made in Italy’ and numbered 7412. In very good overall condition commensurate with age showing the patina of age but nothing detracting in our opinion. Rare and original examples in a much sought after botanical design. Scarce in this size and condition. Stunning on the wall! Can be wired and PAT tested – please enquire.
