A RARE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH DAY BED

A 19th Century French Day Bed with original carved limed wood frame.  Reupholstered with pink mohair velvet and hessian with 18th Century floral silk decorative appliqués and green mohair velvet double piping. The mattress cushion with its original striped hessian sacking now with decorative mohair velvet embellished buttoning. Including recovered feather bolster cushion of 18th Century silver grey floral brocaded silk (with some age marks) and mohair velvet ends, zipped. The Day Bed comes apart for easy transportation.
