A SUBSTANTIAL PAIR OF CONSTANCE SPRY STYLE LOBED WALL VASES, 1930s
£650.00
A substantial pair of Constance Spry style lobed wall vases, 1930s, sourced from a Cornish Estate – of white painted plaster, the gadrooned lobes terminating in ‘sea foam’ curls. In good condition with age related wear throughout including some damage to one curlicue and signs of fibre glass restoration in places mainly on the back but not detracting in our opinion. Later painted in the style of Fulham Pottery’s characteristic white glaze, each with three holes for securing to the wall. Scarce in this design and size and stunning on the wall. Both include zinc liners.
