Description

A unique and substantial 1940s Italian triple branch painted tole ‘fruiting tomato’ sconce – naturalistically designed with a central serpentine stem bearing leafy fruiting and flowering side stems, hand painted throughout, with integral hook for hanging. In good antique condition commensurate with age with some areas of paint loss and signs of wear but not detracting in our opinion! Presently for use with candles but can be wired – please enquire. A rare find! Very decorative and stunning on the wall!
